Full Disclosure: Body Fat Analysis
This morning I went through a Body Fat Test, to establish a baseline for what I do in training.
I have not run a 10K (my first) since 30 September 2007 (result was that I hurt myself).
I have not done much training-ride cycling since my accident, 9 June 2008 (bike since replaced). I have not cycled to work in a month (mostly because I have not been in town). Wow, I sound injury prone. But I'm not.
So here is today's "truth": 228.2 pounds, 26.3% bodyfat -- lean mass of 168.6lb. Base Metabolic Rate of 2157.
(download)BMI calculator says I have a BMI of 28.9 ("That's Overweight").
If I was just lean mass, I would have a BMI of 21.4 -- the center of a "normal" weight range (18.5-24.9). I do not like BMI.
Curious to see what this looks like in 4 months, 8 months, a year.
This is historically on the lower end for me, weight-wise, although I have no previous accurate data on body-fat.
